A little background

The administrator of this site, Marc Elliot Hall, is currently available for your project, as his contract at Thomson Reuters in Saint Louis as a Senior Systems Engineer will end on January 31, 2012.

Before Thomson Reuters, Marc was a Senior Unix Architect at Wells Fargo Advisors in St. Louis. Prior to that, for two years he was the Unix Administrator Lead at St. Anthony's Medical Center in south Saint Louis County and for three years he was employed as a Senior Engineer at MasterCard Worldwide in O'Fallon, Missouri, just outside St. Louis. Previously, he spent most of the post-dot-bomb period in a series of short, low-paying jobs: a four-month-long contract as a Software Engineer at MarkMonitor® in San Francisco (that wasn't really low-paying; but it was short); eleven months working the help desk at C/Net Solutions while he learned the quirks of their cancer registrars' database solution, CNExT; and three months at nerdbooks.com, a company devoted to providing technical books for the computing and engineering professions. In the more distant past, Marc contributed three years as a Senior Application Programmer in the enabling Digital Government Enterprises (eDGE) unit of WorldCom, three years as Webmaster at the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA), and several years as Editor and Webmaster at Murdoch, Walrath & Holmes.

Although Marc is not currently looking for a career change, more complete details of his career are available in his résumé.

For the straight scoop on what's happening in the rest of his life, please read his blog.
