Bryan runs trackBryan decided to join the track team this semester. It takes up an enormous amount of his time. Sometimes he has two or three meets a week and sometimes only one. Because my schedule has been so busy, I have only been able to make it to one meet up until now. At that one, Melody and Thomas and I huddled in the bleachers, freezing to death, before we found out that we'd arrived just after Bryan's second event anyway. So the only purpose in going was to give Bryan an early ride home.
Yesterday, Melody and I got to attend another meet. I'd been looking forward to it because the weather was supposed to warm up and so it would be a nice Saturday outside. Well, it was HOT. It was fun to watch Bryan run, but we were really tired when we got home.Oh, if you can't find Bryan in the pictures below, just look for the glaring farmer's tan, that's what we did.
To celebrate that it has finally warmed up, we took our first family bike ride of the season on Friday. We all rode to the park for a picnic dinner. Hopefully, we'll have a little more nice weather and it won't get too unbearably hot too soon.
